Cozy Cottage Tour ~ Part 1..

Welcome to our "second home." This is our 3rd visit to the cottage in the last year & we're planning one more before the year has ended. We've been here in the spring, summer & winter but not in the fall yet.

Such a peaceful place to relax, write, quilt & renew ourselves. The cottage is just 700 square feet, with a great room, complete with a fireplace, a very large kitchen (bigger than ours at home), large bathroom with laundry & an upper loft that has a second bed in it. Cozy but at the same time spacious, with a large veranda out front & a hot tub to the side.

The bedroom is cozy with just enough space. Beautiful french doors that lead out to the veranda. We like sleeping with the curtains open so we wake up to the beautiful ocean view. Cool when it's hot, warm when it's cold out. And a lovely window seat to read or just sit & watch the deer wander through the garden.

More pictures to follow as I share our Cozy Cottage Adventures with you this week!

Beautiful - fall is such a wonderful time in the Islands. All the way to mid October. September is usually our final month of summer versus like fall.

We were thinking about October. Would love to see the fall leaves here. And by October, programs are half way done and I can leave, knowing that my team are able to carry it on without me on site. Good time for a break before winter sets in!

Your cottage is not much smaller than my house house :-)

Thanks Jolie. I am a huge fan of LIW. And so happy my kids loved reading her books when they were small. My oldest, at 28, is re~reading them right now!

I love this size of house for just the two of us. Perfect with room to have time alone too. When we move out here, the plan is to build this size as it will only be us. No need for more as we'll be outside so much.

Thank you for stopping by today!

The cottage looks like a wonderful place to relax. Lovely blue colors - always my favorite.
