Icy Roads.

We were fortunate to not have to go

anywhere for the last week, staying

home in our cozy cottage, the warmth

and light of family. But yesterday, it

was time to leave the house to pick up

an item from Ikea we had ordered. I

was nervous for the drive but despite

the icy roads, dh was amazing and we

were there and back in no time. Lots

of warm sun and blue skies also helped.

Dented Ice.

It was cold but we could all skate.

Then it warmed up and the ice did

a melt. The wind blew over the net

and dented the ice. No skating now!

Seriously?

Walking over the bridge and down

the path to the indoor hockey rink.

And we spotted a very unusual item

sitting on the ice ~ a shopping cart!

On the way back after the game, we

spotted a second cart on the other side.

Who does this? On a cold weekend?

And why? To prove what? Seriously?
