Haven't posted a photo of my sweet

Carys lately. But here she is, in new

jeans and barefeet. Always so much

fun to dress her up. Second childhood!

A Sister for Carys.

After a year of Carys, it was time to find

her a little "sister" but I promise, just 2

Blythe dolls is all this cottage will have!

New doll arrived on March 2nd after the

creator of Carys released her latest and

I just happened to be looking that day.

The journey from across the sea was so

quick ~ not even 2 weeks. I will do a

reveal soon. Trying to figure out how to

create a video from what I captured on

the day she arrived. And working on her

name as well. Exciting times at the cottage!

Dress for Carys.

It took a few extra days but Carys received

another gift at Christmas ~ a very sweet

linen dress with lace on the bottom and a

pretty crotched collar. All decked out now!

Gift for Carys.

Carys had a sweet gift under the tree.

She looks quite surprised to find this.

And after opening it, she's so excited

to find a pair of lace stockings to wear!

Born to be Wild!

And now that we have a licensed motorcycle driver

in the cottage, guess who wanted a ride? "Born to

be Wild Carys" of course! She had a short ride but

that was all. Carys looked great in her green leather!

Growing a Blythe Doll Wardrobe.

Carys has very few clothes, so it was

time to fill up her little wardrobe ....

I love this seller sent along a few tiny

Care Bear stickers. And sweet clothes!

A lacy dress in pretty white. The detail

is amazing and so tiny with precision.

Love this frilly shirt with the corduroy

and very soft overalls. Oh the buttons!

The pink coat that came with the white

dress. I can't wait to try this one on her.

She appears to love the choices we

made for her new look. So sweet!

Look how precious this is. I need to

now find a pretty pair of dressy shoes.

And the overalls are too cute with the

lacy shirt. Not sure what shoes would

go with this as the overalls are short.

Her tiny feet are sweet so maybe I'll

leave them bare when she wears this

or see if I can find a pair of sandals.

arrive at our front door. with new items.

Frilly Dress.

Sweet Carys received another package

in the mail not long after she arrived.

From a lovely seller from overseas. It

was fun to open up the lovely wrapping.

And inside was this very frilly dress with

an embroidered flower on the front. Short

sleeves and a layered, flouncy, ruffled skirt.

Carys looks amazing in this beautiful dress!

Clothes for Carys.

A tiny package was dropped off at the

little cottage in the big woods for Carys.

Her hands weren't quite big enough to

open all the layers of plastic and paper.

But look what was inside .... a sweet

hat for on top of her curly hair, a pair

of runners, undies and a very soft, pink

sweater for our long Winter's nights. I

love all these items, though the shoes

were advertised as for Blythe dolls but

there is no way they will fit her feet. I

am not going to send them back but will

order another pair from a different seller.

I love the flowers on them but too big!
