Lego Christmas Village.

Our girls gifted me some Lego for my birthday in
November and then they decided we were NOT
putting up our traditional Christmas Village. It's
taken a bit to get used to, but I quite like it now!

Chilly Night.

From my chair .... the guitar, tuned and
ready for a song, the table, full of items
but soon the village will replace those.
I love this view on a chilly night. Love!

English Village.

I would love to take dh across the sea one day to
visit the tiny English villages we explored when
I travelled there at 16. He loves to watch "Escape
to the Country" with me and we always marvel at
the quant villages that dot the countryside. We do
hope to get there soon and stay in a little village.

The Village.

Our tiny Christmas Village. We usually have at
least 2 villages set up each year but for this year,
we had just one. Not as many of the trees are out,
or as many people but we love the cozy warmth.

Snowy Village.

First village up and ready for viewing.
I may add trees in to make it realistic.

Village Living.

I love living in the country and
can't imagine living anywhere
else. BUT things change down
the road once the kids are gone,
I could see us moving either to
our little hamlet, or our other
dream, to our tiny island on
the West Coast. The big city is
definitely NOT for us! Having
neighbors a bit closer than the
ones we have "down the lane"
would be fine in a village like
setting. It would be easier at
that time in our lives, I'm sure.

Do you live in the country, in a
village, in a town or in a big city?

Snowy Village.

A few pictures of our Christmas Village.

Glittery snow covers the ground.

Lights cast shadows on the snow.

A new piece this year!

Theatre ~ last year's acquisition.
