Relaxing View.

We love sitting on our deck, when the
skies are not smoky and the sun is out.
Realizing we took our railings down to
re~stain but haven't put them back yet.
Added now to our growing "things to
do before the snow flies" long list!

My View.

While I provided a counselling session
today, I sat in our tiny living room and
loved the view of the Christmas tree in
the turret. Many pretty views that I love.

Friday View.

A little under the weather on Friday
but after taking some time to rest, I
ended up having a great day. This was
my view that morning. Cozy and warm.

Desk View.

Each day when I sit at my desk, I have
big 4 beautiful windows to look out of. It
can be distracting at times but I love my
view from desk. A pretty sight most days.

My favorite, sturdy mug with warm tea on
a very cold, very windy and very rainy day.

The lace curtains would be still, then whip
around until the breeze would stop and calm.

I have to figure out what to put above the
vintage dresser. More pictures? A shelf?

The window seat is going to have a small
makeover this Summer. Looking for to the
change, as tiny as it will be. Sometimes the
smallest changes have the biggest impact!

Night Cottage.

I often wonder what our cottage looks like from
the little lane we travel down to get home. We
don't typically see much of this sweet view as our
entrance and driveway are on the left hand side.

It was lovely the other night to stop on our walk
and take a picture of this view. We are currently
thinking about adding a secondary entrance through
the trees on the left so guests would see more of
the front of the house. But it's not a cheap expense,
so it's something we'll really have to consider. Our
guests have a lovely drive in and then once parked,
they start to walk along the path and the house
kind of blossoms as the walk continues. And we
are in the middle of creating a "Secret Garden"
theme between those trees and the house. Lots to
consider as we work on the landscape of our home.

Can your guests see your home as they drive up?
Or, like ours, is it a bit of a mystery at the start?

My View ....

.... when I lay in our bathtub and look up, here's the
view I have of my "fake" lavender in a pot on the
window sill. This room has great humidity but
the window is frosted, so no real plants just yet.
