Bench Searching.

I have so many dreams for our garden.

One is to find a metal bench similar to

this one. We have 2 concrete benches,

1 in the Secret Garden and 1 in the new

Memorial Garden. Now I'd like one in

the metal gazebo we hope to construct

before the snow falls. Checking FB and

other sites each day but no luck so far.

Choosing a Gazebo.

We have found two different wrought iron

gazebos that we could buy for the garden.

This first one above is more contemporary,

which of course is truly not our style.

It was on sale last week for 40% off but

even with a discount, it was still $1,600.

The next day, we found this one and its

more our vintage, Victorian style. But

it's not yet on sale. I do have the store

owners business card so I can call her to

see if there is a sale coming up or if a

better price could be negotiated. This

one is set at $1,400 so it's still a better

price than the first one. More scrolls 

and more "hearts." Now comes the big

decision: which one do/should we buy?

Gazebo Kitty.

Kylo the kitty loves to explore and

hide, leaping out to scare us at times.

She loves to check out my dollhouse 

and the gazebo I've been working on.

Inspecting the freshly painted spindles

for any missed spots. She seemed to

love the feel of the turned spindles, as

she kept running her paws over each.

But after a bit of time, she moved on to 

other adventures. Kylo does march to 

her own drum and chose not to use the

open entrance with stairs to leave!

Ooooooooh, I want this!

Can't remember where I found

the picture. But I so want

this bistro set. It would be 

a perfect addition to our

gazebo setting. 

Beautiful periwinkle color. 

I love the lacy look.
