A New Look.

When I first started blogging over 10 years ago, so many of the blogs that I was attracted to featured soft lines, cozy photos and daily life content. That is still what I love about blogging and I set out to create the same. I chose a background I loved and never thought that I'd wake up one day to find my background blank. No graphics, no color, boring! It's taken some time to find another template, and though I'm not complete sold on the one I installed today, it will have to do for now until I can either gather some pennies to pay someone to make one, or I keep looking until the right one comes along. If I had a huge readership and even had commenters, spending the dollars would be fine. Time will tell which route to take. Hope you like this tiny fix!

A Sincere Apology.

I'm trying to find a new look for my blog. Originally I had a free template that I liked and spoke to me the first time I saw it. But recently it disappeared and the site it was from is down. So I found another one and am now trying to reconfigure what the blog looks like. My apology is for anyone who's been on my site for the last day and the look, background, colors keep changing. Just trying out a few options. Bear with me .... I'm almost there! A few technical glitches and then I hope it will be set again. Hoping the new colors and look will be welcome to all who visit here. Blog Reno.

My blog template suddenly disappeared a few days ago. This happened one other time but after doing some research, I discovered the site was down and would be back up within a day. And just like that, my blog template returned. But this time, the site is up, so I'm not sure why my favorite background has vanished. I just spent an hour searching the site this morning but couldn't find it. I'm sending a note to the creator but in the mean time, I've chosen a new template for now. I may try out a few others to see which one fits my style. Just like our old house, which is in the few days of a big renovation before the renters move in, my blog is a bit under a reno for now. Be patient while I figure it all out. And enjoy the new theme. Hope you like this one for today!
