Goodbye June.

It was a lovely month. A healing time. A milestone

that a year ago I didn't think I'd see. A new journey

as we started the renos on our new centre. A new

path of dreams and letting go of the drama. Sweet!

Sweet Baby.

We love having wildlife all around us. And the sweet

deer will always be my very favorite. This baby has

been hanging out behind our cottage and he/she also

wanders around the corner and down the lane. So cute!

Sweet Bean.

Our sweet bean is away this week,

visiting his dad, the wife and all his

siblings. Our cottage is quiet and too

still. Missing this sweet bean tonight!

Heart Felt.

Not many words today. It was a very lovely

day with slushy streets and melting snow.

Amazing meetings, great counselling and

beautiful words of affirmation. But now

I'm tired and curled on the couch to rest

for another great day tomorrow. So instead

of many words, I'm giving you this tiny and

very sweet mouse with a plump pink heart.

Isn't she the sweetest?

Honoring a Special Day.

On Friday, we spent some time together

as a family to honor our tiniest daughter.

A special day because she doesn't reside

in our home, just in our hearts and our minds.

Our tiny daughter was stillborn 17 years

ago and we miss her every day. We often

wonder what she'd be like if she was here

to share her special day. Sweet, we're sure!
