New Driveway.

We had our contractor finish up some

landscaping items on our list for next

Spring as our weather has been so great.

He regraded our driveway, which did

bring up the gravel so that we'll have

more traction this year. And his timing

was perfect as the very next afternoon,

the snow started to fall. Feeling grateful!

Finally ....

We're picking out gates for our driveway.

This has been a long journey and it's not over!

But we're getting closer to final decisions and

construction time. We've decided to keep it very

simple after our original plan for a more ornate

design fell through. Now it's picking the style.

Always fun to look out and see what's out there.

End of Day.

 At the end of the day, this is what it looks like

when we drive down our little lane to our home.

With the frost, it's hard to see the house behind the

trees. Today, with the sun, we can see it nicely.

Pulling up our driveway. On days like this, it looks

very spooky! I much prefer the leafy days of summer.

Dollhouse Update: The Driveway.

Because every dollhouse 

should have a driveway.

After measuring, the glue is applied.

Finding just the right spot ....

.... then emptying half our bookcase

to insure enough weight holds it down.
