One of the things we'd love to the

new centre in time is this door trim

that will make each classroom feel

like a cottage. In time, as we have

too much to do now. Maybe later

in the Spring or early in Summer.

New Cottage Dreaming.

I love collecting photos with ideas for

our future cottage down the road. It

would be our 2nd build but our last

home. All the pieces we've dreamed

about forever would be in this little

house. I dream of a sweet round door

that has panes of glass for light and a

pretty color on the front. Isn't it sweet!

Our little garden door that goes out to

the back deck. Frosty and very, very cold.

Dollhouse Update: The Front Door.

After two weeks of trying to make the new door fit in the old doorway, it finally happened! I sawed and sawed, measured and measured, sawed some more and suddenly, after a ton of energy and sweat, it finally fit in the opening, now expanded. So excited and now I can see how well it fits, making it worth all the work and initial frustration. Feeling more hopeful all the time that one day, I will get this dollhouse done. 

What color should I paint the door is the big question.
