Birthday Boy.

 Dh had a big birthday, as I did, in November.

Today, as we marvelled at the snow and took

time to finish our Christmas shopping, with

hot chocolate warming our hands, I asked

him if he felt "old" as we walked along the

avenue.  His reply "not yet!" I feel the same.

We both agree we truly still feel 18 in so many

things we do. But realistically know our bodies

are starting to age. We'll grow old with grace!

Illuminated Boy.

He wanted to watch a video after dinner.

But all the plugs were either in use or

hidden behind a piece of furniture. So

our little guy had to get a bit creative.

He discovered the Christmas tree only

takes one plug, leaving one open. He

tucked himself in beside the tree and

watched his video. I love how it made

his face illuminate. Can't remember

what he was watching but it was quiet!

Today we're off to town. I have to work,

dd2 has a bake sale at our preschool and

dh and dd1 have a bit of shopping to

finish up. Looking forward to our trek

in with new fallen snow. But am really

looking forward to coming back home.

Our Little Builder.

He's only six but he loves to help out.

Even big jobs like building fences ....

.... and planting and staking apple trees.

Hope his enthusiasm lasts forever ....

Little Horse Boy.

 This little boy is following his mama's

passion for horses with lessons at the barn.

Just like when she was little, part of lessons

is taking care of your horse. He's a natural.

Brushing and tacking up, feeding and

walking. Love that he is loving it all.

Pony Boy.

Our little guy recently had his first riding lesson

at the equine centre down the road from our house. 

He loved the kittens in the barn.

And making new friends!

And a quick brush before a ride. He's following in

his mama's footsteps as she is an avid rider. Love!

Big Boots, Small Boy.

Our little B had fun trying on T's

big winter boots. He has some

growing to do to fill these boots!

Such a trooper on a busy day.

This boy ....

 .... loves that his name starts with his favorite 

letter "B". All day long we have to trace his name, 

making sure to always start with a "big B"!

He spotted his letter at our store and

we had to stop to take his picture!

Our sweet "B"!!

He keeps us laughing.
