Gourmet Salads.

I've discovered our local Italian shop
makes gourmet salads. I LOVE salads
that are layered and have a variety of
ingredients. So scrumptious! This one
has been my favorite so far ~ mixed
greens, blueberries, strawberries, and
blackberries, walnuts and feta cheese,
along with a balsamic vinaigrette. Love!

Blogtober: Day 11.

The best salad ever, on a cool Fall afternoon.
Beautiful greens, tart Granny Smith apples
and poppy seed dressing. Crispy, sour, sweet
and so filling. Oh, and roasted chicken too!

Do you have a favorite Fall salad?

Salads are Back!

Our favorite grocery store in the Big
City finally has the salad bar back after
Covid slowed down. We drove all the
way in to munch and oh, it was so good!

French Dinner.

A bit of Baguette with soft butter
and a Caesar Salad to be made.

The yummiest French Onion Soup,
slowly baked in the AGA oven to warm
us up on a cold, rainy, windy night. It
felt like Fall all day. Dinner was Heaven!

Mmmmmm ......

My daughter thinks it's crazy I have
this much food in a salad but I love
mixing everything up and enjoying
every last tasty morsel! So yummy!

Yum! My Favorite Quick Dinner.

My favorite quick dinner by far.
Fresh salad bar at our grocery store.

Today, there was large strawberries
in the fruit section. My favorite fruit.

Just to prove there was actually some
salad in the salad! Spinach and a mix
of greens. Mandarin slices, strawberries,
blackberries, raspberries, beets, bacon,
mozza cheese and raspberry vinaigrette.
Love all the flavors and even the colors!

Do you have a favorite quick dinner?
Would love to hear your likes, for ideas!

Our Fruit Tree.

Not in our garden, but in our kitchen. Dh
had a staff potluck at work so we made this:

It was fun to plan, then put together and
I'm told it was a big hit at the party.

We ended up with to much fruit left over
so the rest went into a fruit salad to enjoy.
