Educator Gifts.

Because we are so honored to have the most amazing

team members at our centre, it was important to both

of us that we celebrate and honor them. For our first

day of operation, we gifted them each a journal, a

key and a star, representing memories they can write

about, the key that they hold to each child's heart,

and the star because they are all "rock stars!" It was

fun to watch them open their gifts. We are thankful!

2024 Christmas Cards.

I love sending out Christmas cards each year. And love

it even more when our post box starts to fill up with

cards from friends and family. This year, we were

trying to use up the last of all our cards, and these

were the ones we sent out. My favorite is the bottom

right. Sparkly with beautiful colors. I also love the

smaller cards. This helped to get rid of our stash so
I can find Sweet new ones for next year. And beyond.

Valentine's Day.

A pretty bag with the most heartfelt

of cards for my lovey on Valentine's.

And his sweet bag and beautiful card

for me. It was a lovely day all around!

Love Notes.

The last tradition we complete each year, on the

eve of Christmas, is to write each other a tiny card,

with love notes inside. Some years are harder than

others, most are amazing but it's been our practice

to thank each other, with words of love, for doing

it all together, the good and the bad. Teamwork ....

Christmas Card.

I love giving cards each Christmas. A

small way to share the love. This is one

I will give to a friend I haven't seen in a

few years. She's asked to reconnect so

we'll be meeting next week for tea and

to catch up on our busy lives. Sweetness.

In the Post.

 

I spotted this sweet little Halloween

card and just had to buy it for our little

granddaughter. She lives in the big city

beside us but I don't think we'll see her

before the big day, so we took a few

minutes out to send this along in the post.

Our grandson then decided to add in a

picture he drew for her. We'll likely do

a Skype session that night and I hope

this will have arrived in her mailbox.
