Breakfast in bed for Mother's Day has been a treat
and a tradition since the year we were pregnant
with our first baby. She arrived in July that year but
I found myself being spoiled in May when my dh
woke me up with the first of an annual treat of eggs,
bacon, waffle and fruit. I feel so loved by his act of
gratitude. I give this back on Father's Day of course.
We are partners first and parents second but I feel
lucky to be honored each year with this sweet and
amazing "breakfast of love" from my lovey guy!
