I love this image, even though our leaves are basically
all gone now. As we wait for the snow, the trees are
bare and almost spooky looking. The fog has settled
in and though our temperatures are way above the
norm for this time of year, it is feeling like at any
moment, the snow could just start. We are all ready.
It's a lot each year to change from season to season.
This one always makes me settle in to the idea of
Hygge and warmth as we shelter from the cold. It
is lovely we're having a long Fall and we are taking
advantage of the warm days. Today, we're hanging
up the outdoor garland on the front veranda. Lights
are already installed and the wreath went up on the
front door the other day. Then we'll start inside. A
bit of a minimalist look planned for this year as our
little guy will be away for the holidays. For now,
we'll enjoy this month that is full of our birthdays,
taking time to settle in, decorating and baking! A
month of dreaming and planning. Writing letters
and cards. Lots of dreaming. Welcome November!
