About Me

December 28, 2018

The Night Before.

On the eve of Christmas Eve, we
had a dear friend come for dinner.

My mom was supposed to come as
well but her care home has the flu.

We decided to have our dinner anyway.
I'm so glad we did ~ truly so much fun.

We dined on baked ham, creamed corn,
coleslaw and fresh veggies. Light fare.

But oh so good! Dh looking pleased
with himself as our Master Chef.

Candles and soft lights kept the spirit
calm but festive in our warm home.

Our guest, opening her gifts. She gave
to dh a hot chocolate kit and for me, a
set of 12 Christmas balls that depict the
12 Days of Christmas. A gift to cherish.

So glad we can open our home to those
who brighten our lives and add to the fun.
