Christmas Mantel.

A late shot of our Christmas Mantel this year.
I need to add a few taller items on either side.

This year, we're doing a bit of a minimalist
look through the house. Just enough to be
in the spirit of the Season. Enough but not
too much that it's pain later to take it all down.

Are you a bit of a minimalist this year?
Or is your house full of holiday colors?

Another minimalist here - tree is up and decorated, some lights strung around the front steps and trees. Pointsettia and a small 'lighted' tree in the bedroom and a Pointsettia in the living room on a table filled with favorite Christmas vintage figures and bits and pieces.

Merry Christmas Chy. Love your lighted with greenery mantle and your beautiful Christmas trees.

I am not a minimalist for sure but I think as the years pass I will have to put out less 'stuff' because come January I'll have to put it all away again and that's not nearly as much fun as getting it out.

I've always kept decorating at Christmas pretty simple. It takes me about an hour to decorate. I love putting lights on my live Christmas trees outside that flank the doorway. Your mantle looks lovely. Merry Christmas!

Just a few simple decorations here and there that were easy to find and will be easy to put away. Both my boys are in the States so it is a very quiet time here. Merry Christmas!

Joy, your decorating sounds amazing. It is an easier time to just do some and not get too much going up. I loved this year! X Chy

Stephanie, even with a pared down look this year, it did take me longer than an hour but part of that was deciding what to put out and what to put back! Happy New Year!! X Chy

Tammy, I hope you had a great holiday despite your boys being away. I know how hard that is. Thinking of you this Season. X Chy
