I'll start my post today by saying that in time I'll write about life here in the little cottage in the big woods during this very large scale pandemic. But for today, while the sun is shining, I'm taking a break from reading and watching news reports. It's so overwhelming and frankly terrifying. I'm visualizing that we are in a bubble while we self isolate and get used to being home and cozy more than usual.
Look at my happy plants! They were lacking some good sun as we've had a week of cloud and snow again. Not a lot of snow, just flurries and windy days. Today, the sun is bright, the sky is blue and they are soaking it all up! I have a minor cold but might go for a little walk later today ~ the air continues to warm as the day goes on. Yesterday, I reorganized our big walk in closet and today I want to purge the art studio a bit later. First a work out, a shower and some lunch. Maybe a movie later or a letter writing session. Maybe some art. Maybe some dollhouse work. Tonight, a few shows to watch and then early bed so we stay rested.
Hope you and your family are well.
Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Yes, the News of the continuing spread of this awful virus is upsetting, but we must all do what we can to self-isolate, it's essential that we don't spread it unnecessarily.
Your plants look lovely and are obviously enjoying some much-needed sunshine!

Hi Chy!
Thank you for commenting on my blog!!!
Yesssssss, we need to continue to blog now, especially!!! Even more so, than usual. So even if we don't usually blog regularly (I do!!! -smile-), we need to push ourselves a bit.
Love your sunnnny post! We do need that.
And perhaps, say what's going on in our neck of the woods. We are all in this together. Each of us, has different circumstance.
What I ask is... Please do not listen to the so called news. Most all of it, is simply pushing Panic, for its own agenda. There are a few calm and careful sources of real information. I urge all, to find theirs.
And then calm down... Do logical preparation... Be logically careful like washing hands, and etc.
But calm down! Panic and fear are bad for our immune system.
Please go comment on as many blogs as possible, in Pretty Blog Land. Say you are trying to keep in touch with others, at this trying time. With luck, they will return your comments and begin to up their blogging. -smile-
Now I have to go and write my daily post!
Stay wise.
Stay calm.
Stay safe.
Courage!

Your plants seem to be enjoying the sun! Yes, this crisis is overwhelming... so much information and MISinformation! Hubby and I have made a conscious effort to keep calm and hunker down as best we can. Our area schools have all closed so we are expecting to have some of our grands coming to stay with us (or us with them!) while their parents work. None of them can take time off... one daughter in law is a nurse in the local ER, the other works with disabled people, one son is a corrections officer and the other works in insurance but it is a new job so he has no accumulated time. I feel bad for those who must work who have no family nearby to watch this kiddos. Stay safe and healthy!
I saw your comment on someone else's blog and thought, "I haven't caught up with Chy for a long time." Good to know you are cozy in your cottage. Winter seems to be lingering for a long time in AB. Lovely sunshine in your photos. Stay safe.

It's terrifying Margaret. We are keeping well and staying home but every day I wake up and think "ugh, it's still happening!" So scared.

Ah thank you Lorrie. So glad to see you post here! Winter was good at the beginning and then in January, it started to really snow. But thankfully this week it's been melting. I feel like Spring is on its way!
Stay safe. Stay well!
