We have had about 2 weeks of storms, almost every
day. High winds, dark skies, torrential rains and
varied temperatures. On Friday, our last day of our
kids' grief camp, a warning came out for tornados.
We didn't tell the kids but did put our emergency
plan in to place, just in case. Thankfully the storm
was bad but the tornados never appeared. This was
my drive home, just before the rains hit again. At
least our veggie patch is getting tons of fresh rain
water. Less watering for us to do each morning.

Our weather continues to be very hot and very dry.
Oh for a nice soft 24 hour rain. That would more than fill our water barrels and satisfy the thirsty earth.
I wish I could send you our rain. I'm thankful for it as it's keeping the gardens going. Bit of times where there is no rain and the sun comes out as well make me appreciate both.
