Many things come to mind when I think about the word "comfort". A warm house, a loving family, a soft place to cuddle, and things that make me laugh. When I'm sad, comfort means a warm hug and a kind word. When I'm not well, comfort means a bowl of home made soup, steaming and tasty. Next to a warm blanket and a hot water bottle, it's the only thing that works to make me feel well again, outside of a hug! Comfort in a small bowl.

All those things sound so comfy! Snuggling up with a book and a blanket in front of a crackling fire is my favorite comfort place.
It's the season for comfort seeking - soup, blankets, warm drinks - wonderful things for comfort.
Isn't it such a cozy thought Janet? I'm not looking forward to winter but at least we can be cozy!
So true Lorrie. Keeps getting darker earlier each day. But I'm thankful for a peaceful place to be.
Mmmm, that bowl of soup looks so tasty and nourishing X
It was sooooo good Penny. It's a beautiful, sunny day today, so cucumber sandwiches are on the menu but the next cold and rainy day we have, that soup will be simmering on the stove!
