I'm sure you're tired of pictures of
snow and ice. Believe me, so are we!
Our drive home the other day. No
sun, just sleet, ice and more snow.
As we pull up to the cottage, you can
see the back garden, our pergola and
my tiny potting shed in the distance.
It's pretty now but Summer is better.
Home! Thinking about adding some
gingerbread trim to the dormers. I
love homes with added architecture.
What would you do with this space?

You've had more than your share of snow this year, I can see why you will be happy to see Spring :)
I saw a house the other day, where the owners have added a pergola over the garage doors, it looks so classy.

Chy, you really have some snow. I am new to your blog, so I do not know where you live. I am a winter girl and we live in North Central West Virginia and our climate has changed drastically. We used to have real winter and so far this year only a couple of light dustings.
As far as your windows - do you have enough room for window boxes? They are so pretty most of the year blooms in the summer and fresh greens for the holiday season.
Jo, I love your idea of a pergola over the garage doors. Hmmm. We have a pergola off our back deck so that might be a great addition!
