Our community holds a Pride Parade
each year. I believe in diversity, as
does my dh & we have raised our kids
to love everyone. I hope this is not in
any way offensive to any of my readers.
It is for us a choice to love everyone.
The girls & our Mr. B. were invited by
eldest dd's nursing students to walk in
the Parade on Saturday. They had such
a great time. A peaceful but noisy time.
Today, our front hall sports one of the
flags expressing our support for Pride.
An opportunity to create conversation
& show love for the LGBT community.
Do you participate in community events?
How do you show support for different causes?

'Love One Love All' is my mantra Chy, and embracing the wonderful diversity of the human race will hopefully lead to true understanding and love for all. Proud to know you X
not at all offended by this post............
I dont usually celebrate Pride Week, but I do celebrate everyone's right to be who they are I am not sure exactly what the big deal about sexual orientation is, I have never caught "Gay" from any of my gay friends and they have never caught "Straight" from me.
Good for you! I do try to participate in some events...we do not have a pride parade in our town. However, I do support the movement. My sister just came out a couple of months ago and it makes it that much more important that people need to understand that you need to accept all people and not just those that are the same as you.
Carla, thank you for your sweet comments!
I love your mantra Penny. So affirming!
P.S. Penny .... a card is in the mail for you today!! X
Thank you Gill. I'm touched by the positive messages to my small post.
