It's almost the middle of Fall and with
the time change last night, our days
are getting shorter and darker. My
favorite time of day is late afternoon.
Short shadows but warm and cozy light.
Sometimes bright and definitely a
moment in time to treasure.

I am conflicted now. I hate the days getting shorter and shorter, so after mid day I start panicking because it seems that daylight is nearly gone. Which is odd since during the long summer days twilight is my favorite time of day.
I understand Anne. As much as this dusky light is my favorite time of day, it is of course then followed by pitch black as we're in the country, so no street lights. I don't like that part but we tend to stay in at night where it's light and warm and cozy!
Since our clocks went back last weekend we are dark from about 5pm. Personally I like the long aitumn and winter evenings, and love it when we are all snug and cosy inside X
I love evenings in and am so happy to be settled in the country where we don't have to go out at night. Like you said "snug and cosy"!! X Chy
