Home sick today, again, with a high fever.
So sad to see him not well.
Thankful for a flexible job so I can be here.
Holding his little hand while he sleeps.
Hoping for a quick end to his pain.
Off to the children's hospital soon.

Oh dear. I'm sorry to hear a trip to Children's is in the works. How good that you can stay home with him.
Thank you Lena for your kind thoughts. He is much better, still has a rash and is not as energetic but he's up and playing so our worry is gone now.
Thank you Lorrie. Our trip to the hospital was fine and reassuring from his doctor. I love that I can help out when my kids need an extra hand. Love having a flexible job and an understanding boss who also happens to be a gramma!
