Sparkly Snow.

After a big snowfall, the first since 2011, we

woke up to sun and very sparkly snow today.

JPC #9: Tea Break.

Tea break at our house often includes a sweet snack.

On cold Winter nights', a pot of tea in a favorite

pot and a scrumptious fruit custard tart. So very

yummy and warm when the night air is icy cold.

JPC #8: Flooring.

I love the flooring we chose for our

home. Engineered hardwood in a soft

maple color. It is lightly distressed, a

selling point with kids in the house!

JPC #7: Hygge.

Hygge in our house means candle light,

tea pots steaming, homemade soup on

the table, fresh bread and cozy blankets.

Movie time, snuggle time, love time.

JPC #6: Color Accent.

The accent color in our house is this

soft sage green. Lavender walls with

ivory cream and then the green to

jazz it up a bit. Love these colors.

JPC #5: Living Space.

January Photo Challenge .... Day #5 ....

Living Space. This cozy spot in our

living room is another favorite for me.

A quiet spot in a very noisy house.

JPC #4: Had It ....

.... For Ages. This sweet little pink shelf
we picked up years ago. But our dd's
were too old and at the time, we hoped
to build a new home one day and could
envision this in a play area for future
grandbabies or a guest bedroom. And
that's where it lives now, in our lovely
little guest bedroom. So pink and sweet.

JPC #3: Home Item.

For the third day of the January Photo Challenge,

our chose our Master Bedroom mantel for the

prompt "Home Item" ~ a favorite, especially when

it is hit by the early morning sun. It's fun to decorate

and beautiful to look at. So happy we put it in when

we were designing the house. A favorite thing.
