Such a sweet little cottage. This was actually a
color we considered for the exterior of our home.
In the end, we chose green, black and white, with
a bit of grey trim, and love the mix. I could see this
color being a contender the next time we do build!

Our house is a dark chocolate brown with taupe and white trim. Our front door is green and has been for many years. Hubby decided that it needs to be red and picked out the color so it will be painted as soon as we get some good painting weather.

ReplyDeleteOur house is a Dutch Colonial, or was so called, when we built it, a half century ago. With brick on the bottom of the front. White siding on upper floor. Dormer windows above. Black shutters on windows. White front door. Years ago is was red, and liked that. We have never bothered to paint new white door, red.
