I like seeing the various miniature rooms. My DH built some oak boxes years ago and with a LOT of help from my talented oldest daughter we outfitted one as a dining room and the other a livingroom at Christmas. The boxes measure about 21 by 13 by 10 inches high and have a glass front that can be lifted out. They hang on the LR wall and are lit 24/7 by tiny bulbs.
