Our local Antique Mall recently had a
sale and one of the items we came home
with is this beautiful lap blanket. It's a
perfect addition to our living room. I love
the colors and the incredible handiwork
that someone must have spent many hours
working on. I always wonder about the
history of an item. Was this made with love
but the person it was given to didn't want
it? Was it given to someone who never
used it? Was it made and then forgotten?
Whatever the original intent, I love that it
now graces our space. In perfect condition,
an item we will cherish in our home always.
