Our back garden became very
overgrown with all the recent rain.
Every time we went out to weed,
we'd have to come back in
as the rain would fall again.
Finally, we gave up!
And the result was the
above shot. Yuck!
But today, after 2.5 hours of
me weeding, turning the dirt,
adding nutrients, rearranging
some of the plants, adding
more dirt & then watering,
we have a much nicer
landscape to gaze at from
our new deck.
A few new trees & some
wildflowers from seed & it
will look like an oasis,
instead of a jungle!!

ReplyDeleteThank you! It was hard work, I'm a bit sore today (not as bad as I thought I would be)& now I can't wait to finish up the planting this weekend. A fresh garden, ready for new plants.

The rain continues and the weeds are growing again! A never ending job but at least the flowers are blooming with beautiful colors!
