It must be so stressful for all involved. Soon, it will be done and it will unfold, hopefully, the way it needs to. Also I would hate to see a rapist back in the oval office where he did and sexually harassed so many woman. I also could never support someone who believes you can legally kill, or a woman's right, to murder an unborn baby as late as full term. Now I know Trump as his issues, but I can hope for what he can do versus knowing what Hillary will do....Cathy @ My 1929 Charmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05152030881064923919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6420789516107092243.post-76196450087429289092016-10-21T11:21:32.451-07:002016-10-21T11:21:32.451-07:00It's interesting and scary all at the same tim...It's interesting and scary all at the same time Penny! Glad to know in the U.K., your PM has settled well into her position and blossomed! Donald Trump is at best is unconvincing and unstatesmanlike; he appears small minded, and unable to grasp the complexities of being the president. His attitude to women seems stuck in the 1700's. Would he have the personal self control to negotiate with foreign leaders, and others within the States? I understand that Hilary is unpopular, though to be honest I am not sure of the reasons for that. She at least seems highly intellegent, with lots of relevant political experience, and may blossom as a president. Our current prime minister, Theresa May, has emerged as a very strong, very straighforward, plain talking leader, after many years as Home Secretary. We will watch the results with great interest from the UK xPennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03174324346613155013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6420789516107092243.post-51634295412238722672016-10-20T07:46:17.990-07:002016-10-20T07:46:17.990-07:00Hi Traycee. I wish there was a way to have a psychological assessment done to determine if his mind is healthy enough to even make the most basic of decisions. He made a comment on twitter the other day that was taken down 20 minutes later but by then had been tweeted like crazy ~ he stated that the biggest mistake the U.S. ever made was granting Canada our independence, and if he wins, he'll make us be part of the Americas again .... umm, we're part of the British Commonwealth. He just doesn't have his facts straight. I actually feel bad for him as every move he makes doesn't make him look any better. Fingers crossed on the 8th, voters will make think strongly and clearly on their ballot. Ugh. And, to say that I am terrified of the outcome is putting it mildly. I completely agree with you on the choices we have for president and, truthfully, the thought of Trump having access to nuclear codes is horrifying. Here is another thing that I am worried about as well....If Clinton does win the election, I am very concerned there could potentially be rioting and chaos - Especially since last night during the debate when asked if he would accept the election outcome, he wouldn't commit. I am not sure the United States is going to be a very safe place to live after November 8th for any of us.Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15962759988828423369noreply@blogger.com
