His Name ....

Our son would have turned 30 years old today. He

was born at this exact moment on a rainy night ~

March 25, 1996 @ 2:20 am. Weighing just 1 pound

and 10 ounces, he was at the time, our tiniest baby.

He never opened his eyes or took a breath but to us,

he was beautiful and perfect. Stillborn but born still.

We miss him every day and will never forget him.

Our Earthly children have always been our focus,

but each and every day, we remember with love all

our tiny but very wanted babies who live afar in the

stars. For time and eternity, until we meet again, his

name is Bretton~Elijah Lucas. Precious and loved.

My Era.

Though we are finally having a warm

Winter after all the snow in December,

it's still my "I want to stay home"era. I

do love to be home, cozy and warm. If

the snow is swirling outside and the wind

is blowing, that's even better. For now,

we have sunny days that melt the snow.

And warm air that means we don't have

to be completely bundled up. A January

that we're not used to but are embracing!

New Year Hopes.

I never make New Year's Resolutions.

But I do make a list of hopes each

year. This year, it's a pretty simple.

World Peace. The Orange Man to go

away. Our Province's Leader to as

well, as her "ideals" are matching. I

hope for my mom to be at peace in

her illness. For my amazing team at

the centre to be healthy and fulfilled.

Not a lot, just simple and basic. Peace.
